WITH England running away with the NatWest Series, Studley's South African skipper Brandon Miller has been forced to eat some humble pie at Washford Fields this week.
But the likeable captain believes the same spirit sparking Michael Vaughan's one-day side has been mirrored at Studley this season.
Miller's men are four points off Birmingham Senior League Division Two East leaders Walmley after a soaring season.
An almost guaranteed top-half finish will secure their all-new Division Two status next season as the bottom clubs form part of Division Three.
And Miller believes that will only improve the quality of Studley's cricket next season.
Solid work from Studley's attack saw Bedworth all out for 171 off 47 overs.
The batsmen then went about their work with aplomb as they knocked off the runs with Simon Stamenkovic (48), Mark Edwards (58) and Miller himself (57) doing the business.
It all means that Studley go into tonight's Birmingham Challenge Cup final with Fordhouses at Washford Fields (6.30pm) in buoyant mood.
