HOT weather and similar competition welcomed the visitors from South Worcester SG to Throckmorton CPSC.
Still smarting from their recent defeat, Throckmorton's young guns put on an excellent display of marksmanship.
Stuart Emms and Jim Ford lead the way both returning 45/50. Mick Stayte and Doug Jeffries recorded the top scores for the visitors returning 39/50 and 38/50 respectively in a 285-236 reverse.
Emms, not satisfied with his first round score, re-entered the sporting competition and conquered the layout with a faultless 50/50. Shooting partner Mark Knight achieved a creditable 48/50 on his second card.
Six maximums (25/25) were recorded on the Skeet layout with Dave Crowley achieving the feat twice.
On the Down the Line layout, Alf Symonds (25/25=73/75) and John Ford (25/25=72ex75) continued in their battle to be Top Gun.
