CAN I, on behalf of the organisers, say a big thank you to those organisations and individuals who took part in this year's Community Arts Festival Event (CAFE).

It was good to see so many talented and enthusiastic participants. In particular, we would like to thank the Kingfisher Centre for allowing us to use the area as a focus for our activities.

It was very pleasing to see such large crowds of busy shoppers pausing to enjoy the variety of artistic activities on display under the palm trees and thanks also to those people who went along to the events that were staged elsewhere in the town centre.

Hopefully, you were inspired by some of the activities you saw and heard - maybe inspired enough to try them.

Remember, all the activities are available to participate in at local groups in the Redditch area.
