SINCE a disabling accident some time ago, I am much given to travelling by bus and consider we have a very decent service for the most part - up to tea-time anyway!
However, I would be interested to know how the current law, by-law or condition operates when road users such as cars, lorries and similar vehicles park up at bus stops, thus forcing the bus driver to drop off passengers in the middle of the road.
I believe that at one time this was considered an offence.
Whatever else it transpires to be, it is insensitive to leave vehicles in such a way as to endanger the travelling public as they disembark.
Perhaps they would like First and our local authorities to devise a light rapid transit tram system.
