WITH regard to the bottlenecks created through changed road markings, Worcestershire County Council is doing its best to try to kill off any potential business which might be able to flourish now that a few shops have opened in Redditch town centre.
This is because the traffic approaching from Evesham, Astwood Bank, Wythall and the A441 is being throttled in its flow due to the changed road markings on both islands.
The queue each evening backing up to the Alvechurch bypass is amazing.
Are we the only ones who feel it is about time for Redditch to divorce from Worcester?
Redditch is a big boy now (nearly 78,000 residents.) Worcester should keep its nose out of our town's business.
Please councillors, do something about this before decay sets in.
