IT is with great sadness members learned of the death of friend and committee member Rita Jordan. Thoughts and love to Peter and family.
The June meeting turned out to be a social afternoon as speaker Simon Thomas was held up due to road works at Sainsbury's island.
The outing to Weston on July 3 was enjoyed by all. The weather was kind and Littlewoods was relieved of most of their stock. Thanks to Edna Milton for excellent organisation.
The next meeting will be on July 24 at 2pm in the Ecumenical Centre.
