LAST weekend saw the Henley Masters Regatta taking place and Evesham's Tina Bonham won gold in the women's Vet C Eights with a comfortable win over Broxbourne RC.
Llandaff Regatta produced three wins for the club with the men's Novice Eight having a straight final when they narrowly edge out Gloucester.
The crew consisted of cox Sarah Fisher, James Banner, Andrew Longden, Richard Baldwin, Rob Sadler, Neil Collins, Richard Powell, Jamie Mason and Martin Bowes.
There was also a straight final for the women's Double Scull and Debbie Turner and Jane McIntosh easily beat a Maidenhead/Llandaff composite.
To cap a good day, Crystal MacLeod beat a Gloucester opponent by one length in the women's Senior II Single Sculls.
Club member Andrew Walker has been selected to represent a Great Britain quad at the World Championships in Athens next month.
