IN ADDITION to having three of their ladies through to Leamington in the finals of the County Triples, Littleton now have Angela Roberts and Sue Heming through in the Pairs event after coming through several rounds before defeating Margaret Stokes and Pat Hogen of Gilt Edge 26-10 in the semi-finals.
Heming also overcame Jean Taylor of Worcester BC 21-12 in the Over-55 Singles and she now has to play a Herefordshire opponent as this competition now goes out of county.
Last Sunday, the club staged its Gala Day that proved another enjoyable and extremely successful event.
This competition was run in two sections and the winners were Fred Winter's team (event sponsor) who got the better of Littleton's Trish Emms and her team in their section final.
Frank Walker and his Evesham team accounted for Peter Bryan and his Inkberrow colleagues.
The winning teams received £100 each and the runners-up £50.
The sponsors were Fred Win-ter (Jack High Bowls Insur-ance), JML Taxis, Oakfields, OHMS, Midfield Motors, Beer Seller and Willersey Provisions.
