TABLE-topping Worcestershire are set to select from a 13-strong squad for their County Championship Division Two match against Sussex at New Road tomorrow.
A final decision will not be made until after today's home floodlit Norwich Union National League Division One game with Gloucestershire (4.10pm start).
The County will be without skipper Graeme Hick due to his involvement later this week in England's opening Test match against the West Indies at Edgbaston.
The nucleus of the County side is expected to be the same as that which trounced Nottinghamshire by 106 runs at Trent Bridge last week with young pace prospect Kabir Ali a likely candidate to fill the gap created by Hick's absence.
Worcestershire will go into the match with an unbeaten record of two wins and three draws.
They are currently ten points clear of second placed Essex.
The County will be hoping to complete a Championship 'double' over Sussex who fell under the spell of pace ace Glenn McGrath magic when the sides met at Hove last month.
On that occasion the Australian star claimed a match haul of 9-84 to help Worcestershire triumph by seven wickets.
Worcs (from): Weston, Wilson, Pollard, Solanki, Driver, Leatherdale, Rhodes (capt), Lampitt, Illingworth, Kabir Ali, McGrath, Sheriyar, Catterall.
Meanwhile, Worcestershire found it tough going on the opening day of their Second Eleven Championship match against Durham at The Riverside yesterday.
After winning the toss, Durham were finally dismissed for 296 off 94 overs after half centuries from Andrew Pratt (69) and Jimmy Daley (52).
They were also boosted by a valuable 48 from Paul Mustard.
By the close last night Worcestershire were 18-2 in reply.
