I'M now of the opinion that it would be better for all concerned in the Iraqi War - and beneficial to everybody - if the British and the American troops pulled out and gave the £15m to the notorious Saddam Hussein and told him to take over the running of the country.

I bet he'd have the country back on its feet in a couple of weeks with all the utilities, water, gas and electric.

No doubt all the low-life and rebels would be rounded up and put to the sword for the damage they did to the hospitals and museums and other public building which were pillaged and wrecked in the aftermath of the war. I have no doubt that countries like Iraq and Iran cannot function without a dictator, as democracy's obviously totally alien to the likes of these people.

If the laws that govern Iraq - that's public execution for rapists and murderers, drug-pushers and users, the removal of the right hand for theft, burglary, mugging and car theft - were adopted throughout western countries, a more agreeable atmosphere would be prevalent throughout the world.
