A DULL reserve encounter saw Kidderminster Harriers lose their unbeaten home record in the Avon Insurance League Second Division.
Visitors Macclesfield Town won 1-0 with a 16th minute close-range winner from Lee Hughes after Mike Bamber's cross.
Harriers' only real chance fell to triailist Alex Kevan, a 20-year-old Liverpool-born midfielder released by Burnley.
But Kevan's effort was saved by Steve Hodgson and teenage substitute Matt Lewis was also denied later in the game.
Harriers: Murphy, Medou-Otye, Stanford (Lewis 73), Khela (Jackson 46), Sall, Davies, Corbett, Faulds (Barnett 73), Hadley, Ducros, Kevan. Sub not used: Danby.
