STOURPORT Swifts strolled their way to a 1-1 draw in the penultimate Dr Martens Western Division clash of the season at Bedworth United.
But the display left manager Tim Langford fuming as he blasted some of his players for their de-mob-happy attitude as the game ended in stalemate.
The comparison of this performance with the midweek win over Weston left the player-manager scratching his head at his team's fluctuating work ethic.
Langford said: "When you look at Tuesday night and look at today you just wonder how a team can play so well and then, today, we just did not seem to have the motivation.
"It is so frustrating because we had nearly the same 11 players against Weston who worked their socks off that night and, come today, some of them were not prepared to pull their weight."
It is not the first time this season that Langford has wondered at the Jekyll and Hyde nature of his side.
Resounding victories over then promotion-chasing Solihull and battling Rocester were followed by a muted display against mediocre Gloucester City - something they will need to address if they are to improve next term.
Their wastefulness in front of goal will also be a matter of concern for Langford, the former Wycombe Wanderers striker.
Swifts should have been ahead after just six minutes when a neat exchange of passes with Andy Wright put Kerry Giddings in behind the United rear-guard but his early shot dipped just too late.
Swifts fell behind in the 33rd minute when Bedworth skipper Guy Sanders scored with a header from a corner.
But the visitors secured a share of the points two minutes later after a corner of their own was headed back by Nigel Laker to Simon Marsh who threw himself headlong to power past the keeper.
