TIM Langford's Stourport Swifts were given a lesson in finishing by Mangotsfield's young striker Darren Edwards who inspired the West Country side to a 4-1 victory.
Edwards roamed free around Walshes Meadow in a display that brought Swifts deficiencies into sharp focus.
Swifts, without a win in four games, were brought back down to earth after February's 3-0 win at Mangotsfield.
They remain 10th in the Dr Martens Western Division table but several clubs could drag them towards the bottom half.
Langford said: "We have struggled to score lately and that is something we need to address in the summer.
"We had more possession than we have had in any other game this season and for long spells we controlled the game.
"But in the first half we did not really create anything and in the second we made more chances than we have in the previous three or four games.
"But whatever formation we play we have got to put the ball in the back of the net."
In the 25th minute, Edwards was on hand to snaffle a close-range effort after keeper Rob Clarke parried a header.
The United second came four minutes after the break as Edwards slipped in Gareth Loydon to finish from the edge of the area.
Swifts pulled one back in the 64th minute when Jan Mulders' foray into the visiting defence was rewarded when his 20-yard shot hit the back of the net.
But a minute later Edwards broke free to lob Clarke for the third and the same player tumbled under Clarke's challenge 14 minutes from time.
Swifts' number one was shown the red card and Loydon squeezed the spot-kick under makeshift keeper Kerry Giddings.
