MALVERN Town Reserves crashed out of the West Midlands League Supplement-ary Cup by a 13-3 aggregate against Wyre Forest Brintons.
It was a frustrating experience for a young Town side, already struggling with first team call ups.
Town would have been hopeful of getting something out of the tie, especially against a side who only finished a couple of places above them in the league table, only to turn up for the first leg and see a Wyre Forest side containing a number of experienced players (some ex-Kidderminster Harriers), who have not been part of their regular line up.
Not surprisingly Town were overwhelmed and suffered an 11-1 reverse.
However, pride was marginally restored, in a game played on a much more even footing, when the two sides played out a 2-2 draw at the Langland Stadium on Wednesday night.
