A YOUNG Harriers reserves gave Stoke City a strong test before dropping to a 2-1 defeat in the Avon Insurance League Cup group stage on Wednesday night.
Andy Corbett put Kidderminster ahead on 39 minutes but Lewis Neal's penalty put the visitors level in the second half.
Marc Goodfellow claimed the victory for Stoke with 10 minutes left.
Harriers, who gave former Crewe youngster Steve Spencer another trial game at right-back, had Daire Doyle, Tim Jackson and Abdou Sall booked.
