TWO goals in three minutes at the start of the second half gave Stourport Swifts a 2-1 victory at Evesham United in the Dr Martens Western Division.
And the rampant visitors could have added to their tally as Phil Mullen's side faded under the second-half onslaught with keeper Dave Adey doing well to keep the tally down.
Yet it was the Robins who started the brighter, running the show for the first 20 minutes in which time they took a deserved lead.
Good work from Shaun Pratt created an opening on nine minutes only for the chance to go begging.
Two minutes later Evesham were ahead. A Paul Webb free-kick was headed across goal by Steve Lutz and Pratt stopped to nod the ball over the line.
Duncan Preedy forced Swift keeper Rob Clarke into a good save on 18 minutes but that was as close as they got to adding to their tally.
Swifts hit back and should have been on level terms by the break. Alex Cowley and Simon Marsh dallied too long when well placed with Adey and defender Jay Powell also keeping Marsh at bay with timely interceptions.
But the pressure finally told five minutes after the break when an Ian Cottrill free-kick was headed home by Dave Davies - his first goal for the club.
Two minutes later another impressive run from Richard Gardner ended with a fierce shot that Adey did well to hold.
Swifts grabbed their winner just moments later when a splendid through ball from Adam Nicholls found Cowley who out-paced his marker before steering the ball past Adey.
A good Adey save kept out a powerful Davies header on the hour and the closing seconds saw the Swifts twice go close - Kerry Giddings pushing a shot inches wide of the post before a Marsh 40-yard lob sailed just wide.
