BROMSGROVE Rovers' new Director of Football Steve Daniels has made two more additions to his squad ahead of tomorrow's crucial trip to Cirencester Town (3pm).
He has recruited 18-year-old left-sided player Kevin Banner from Midland Alliance side Oldbury United, while right-back Calvin Hamilton has also joined the club as player-coach, having previously played under Daniels at his former club Stourbridge.
Daniels has also made a seven-day approach for Blakenall utility man
Morgan Brookes and has added Wes Mole, another member of his Stourbridge backroom staff, to his management team.
Daniels says he has set an 18-point target for Rovers to beat the drop, two successive defeats against Weston-super-Mare and Solihull having left them just one point outside the drop zone.
He also hopes the resolving of their long-standing off-the-field problems will help, having averted a winding-up order and seeing chief executive Pat Bannister complete his takeover of the club.
"Of course that does help, but that is no excuse for the results on the pitch," he said.
"We could do with picking some points up. We have 13 games left and we have to be looking to pick up 18 points, which equates to six wins.
"There are no ifs and buts, and we have to start on Saturday. We are working hard and we will do our best."
