STOURPORT Swifts survived gale force winds and driving rain to grab a 1-1 draw at Shepshed Dynamo in the Dr Martens Western Division.
But it should have been maximum points for the Walshes Meadow side.
They were twice denied in the closing minutes by a keeper who should have been given his marching orders just moments earlier.
Shepshed's Damion Quailey looked destined for an early bath 15 minutes from time when he scythed down Kerry Giddings just as the Swifts striker looked set to score.
Quailey escaped with a booking and although beaten by Jan Mulders' resulting penalty, he then denied Swifts with two late saves.
The keeper blocked an Andy Wright effort with his legs before tipping an Asa Charlton drive over the bar in the dying seconds.
There was little to choose between the sides in an even first half with both teams having chances to open the scoring.
Mulders blazed a shot over the Shepshed bar after just three minutes, while Giddings steered one just wide of the upright ten minutes from the break.
Kirk Master twice went close at the other end, forcing Stourport keeper Rob Clarke into good saves.
The breakthrough came on 58 minutes when the impressive Danum Russell skipped through three challenges before finding Master free on the left and the diminutive striker placed his shot beyond Clarke.
Danny O'Toole forced Clarke into action again midway through the half before Mulders' penalty levelled the scores.
