BROMSGROVE Rovers hope to celebrate their latest reprieve from closure by moving out of the Dr Martens League Western Division relegation zone tonight.
Rovers, who had an £18,000 winding-up order from HM Customs and Excise adjourned for a further 28 days yesterday, travel to Rocester (7.45) needing victory to escape the drop zone.
They will be confident having not lost a league game in January, but chief executive Pat Bannister says they will need to improve on their performance in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Shepshed.
He said: "I wasn't at the game but had a full report from Eric McManus who said the performance was well below par, and only in the last five minutes did the players manage to redeem themselves."
New striker Jonathan Miley, a former Aston Villa apprentice, is poised to make his full debut after being on the bench at Shepshed, while fellow newcomer Steven Padmore, a winger formerly with Sutton United, should keep his place.
Striker Richard Burgess, who is training with Port Vale, serves the second game of a three-match suspension.
