MORE than 100 people from across Wyre Forest travelled to London to make their voices heard.
Two coaches left Kidderminster early on Saturday morning full of peace marchers with others going by train.
Coach organiser Cherry Isherwood of Bewdley Quakers - a veteran of several protests including the anti-apartheid campaign - said a cross-section of society made the trip.
"It was a fantastic day. We had people from different ethnic backgrounds, different religions, no religions - we had everybody."
The youngest of the district marchers was 12 while Helen Richardson, featured in the Shuttle/Times and News, was the oldest at 84.
Mrs Isherwood said the campaign against the downgrading of Kidderminster Hospital had introduced many people in the district to the idea of protesting.
She added a meeting will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, Lower Park, Bewdley, on Tuesday at 7.15pm to discuss further action.
Anybody is welcome. For further information contact Mrs Isherwood on 01584 881319.
