USERS of a day centre in Pershore have been rewarded for their hard work in helping wildlife and the environment.
Dawn Williams, Robert Cole, Marie Holder, Michael Camm and Phillip Mills, all from the Three Springs Day Centre, a day centre for people with learning disabilities, spent a couple of months making bird boxes.
The group, which carried out the work in partnership with the British Trust Conservation Volunteers, then installed them in Tiddersley Wood in Pershore in February.
They were presented with certificates of achievement for their work in a presentation at the centre.
Now the day centre hopes to carry out dry-stone walling and various other ecological projects in Bredon over the next couple of months.
