ALES from local breweries are being lined up for the Worcester Beer and Cider Festival next month.
Among the 95 breweries contributing are St Georges in Callow End and the Malvern Hills Brewery.
Their brews are among the 170 beers and 65 ciders and perries available at the festival, at Worcester Racecourse from August 14-16.
To make sure the ales are in tip top condition, organisers are looking for a volunteer beer taster.
The beers will have to be checked on the afternoon of August 14, before the festival opens, and anyone who wants to put their name forward should register on the website www.worcesterbeerfest.org.uk.
The winner will get to choose the festival's champion beer, and will win a pair of tickets to the Friday evening session.
Around 5,000 visitors are expected at the event, which runs from 7pm to 11pm on the Thursday and 11am to 11pm on other days.
Admission is £3-£5, depending on the day, including a souvenir glass and programme. Advance tickets are available from 01905 611427.
