A WELLAND company is supporting a pair of actors in a two man Gilbert and Sullivan show.
Robert Traynor and Kevin Tillett will be taking their show This Was Your Life to Birmingham International Arts (Fringe) Festival next month.
They are being sponsored by Nelson Training, having often worked with the company by acting out scenes from the workplace as part of its training sessions for companies.
The firm's innovative approach to training, putting drama at the heart of its work, helped win it a Malvern Hills District Council Platinum Business Award in the arts section earlier this year.
Both men are also regular pantomime performers.
Kevin has appeared as the Dame at the Courtyard arts centre, Hereford, for the last two years and Robert has been in panto with one of the best, John Inman, for the last three years.
Their show is based on the life of W S Gilbert and has already toured successfully around the country.
In the show Gilbert returns from the dead to discuss his legendary partnership and sing some of the songs which made him famous. Both Mr Traynor and Mr Tillett are former D'Oyly Carte soloists.
Performances are at The Crescent Studio, Crescent Theatre, and for details ring 0121 643 5858.
