THE Rector of Upton, Rev Dr Christopher Hardwick, has been appointed an honorary canon of Worcester Cathedral.
He is one of six members of the clergy from across the diocese to have been appointed.
The Bishop of Worcester, Rt Rev Dr Peter Selby, said: "I am delighted to be able to appoint these honorary canons who represent every part of our diocese."
Rev Dr Hardwick will be given his new role during Evensong at November 29.
