MALVERN CC SUNDAY XI v WORCESTERSHIRE U16s
MIllingworth, son of Worcestershire's Richard Illing-worth, and I Mateen opened the batting for Worcestershire and got off to a fairly good start putting on 30 for the first wicket.
Illingworth was the first to go for six, caught by wicket keeper A Cullen off the bowling of A Dovey, who bowled two very hostile spells. A Croft bowled a good spell taking 3-30 off six overs. I Mateen was finally out for 80 and Worcester-shire were bowled out for 169 in the 40th over of this 45-over match.
After Cullen was bowled by Harris for a duck, D Arnold (83 not out) joined M Mitchell (21) at the crease and began to play shots to all parts of the ground to reach the total of 170 in the 37th over.
This Sunday it is Malvern's fun day with an under 14s festival. Plenty of cricket to watch all day. Side stalls, barbecue and tombola etc. Fun for all the family. Everybody welcome.
