Electing to bat, Worcester Nomads got off to a disastrous start against Barnards Green 3rd XI losing Ranscombe who was bowled around his legs by Liam Paddock, off the second ball of the game.
Rob Tyler clean bowled Kelly, before Dave Price deceived both Massey and Dexter to bowl both batsmen. Taylor was well caught by skipper Bob Rogers following the introduction of Paddock, who also accounted for Stafford to finish with 3-15 as Nomads finished on 127.
A slow but solid start saw Lee Dyment (8) and Liam Paddock (29) take the score to 40 before Dyment was bowled. Paddock followed suit on 57 and Dave Knapper (23) and Cyril Dean (50no) took the Green within sight of victory before Knapper was lbw to Taylor.
Patrick Jelley and Dean then saw the Green home with Dean scoring an excellent 50.
