THE Queen has offered a personal message of condolence to the Ledbury family coming to terms with the deaths of three loved ones in a crash on the M56.
Her Majesty spoke of the crash during her visit to Ledbury last Friday and her message was passed to the family by the town council.
Homend Paper Shop newsagent Martin McCoig-Lees, his wife Denise and their son nine-year-old son Ryan, all died when a minibus taking them to Manchester Airport for a holiday flight left the highway and struck a barrier last Thursday. Four other people were also killed.
There has been a wave of community support for the family, who have said a public thank you to the hundreds of people who sent cards, phoned or offered sympathy.
A shrine of flowers has formed outside the shop.
