A SIXTY-year-old motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Stockton on Teme, near Great Witley, outside Worcester.
Derrick Norman of Callow Close, Stourport-upon-Severn, was pronounced dead at the scene on the A433 about half a mile from the Elms Hotel on Stockton Road shortly before 8.30am yesterday.
Mr Norman had been riding a Suzuki GSXR 600cc bike when he was involved in the collision with a Mitsubishi Space Star Mirage.
Paramedics, the County Air Ambulance and a passing doctor attended the scene.
No casualties were conveyed to hospital and the female driver of the car was uninjured.
The road was closed in both directions for more than three hours.
