PERHAPS Mr N Taylor and his like should band together and campaign the Government for the introduction of higher speed limits.
Then, when all 30 mph speed limits become 40 mph, and 40 mph become 50 mph, will they then still complain when caught doing 45 in a 40 limit? Where will it all end?
Speed limits are put there for a reason, a good reason.
Speed kills and anyone who drives a vehicle, big heavy metal things full of fuel, has a potential lethal weapon under his or her control.
It might seem frustrating to some to slow down, but perhaps, if Mr Taylor talks to staff at the Royal Hospital - who have to deal with road casualties and traumatised relatives - he might rethink some of his views on safety cameras.
