A COMPANY that hires out tools and construction equipment is growing so quickly it has changed its name to reflect its new positioning.
Worcester Hire Centre has changed its name to WHC Hire Services to reflect the fact the company is expanding and gaining customers in other parts of the country.
The name-change also coincides with the firm's one-year anniversary at its new premises, in Bath Road, Worcester, earlier this month.
Brothers James and Rob Clutterbuck set the company up in 1997.
Originally at Shrub Hill, the firm hires out hundreds of items, including tools, mini diggers and roller dumpers.
"The new premises in Bath Road are bigger than those we had previously," said Dave Creswell, hire manager.
"Our showroom is now across two levels. We have grown so rapidly we thought a name change would more accurately reflect the fact we now have customers all over the country - it is more all-encompassing.
"Since we moved we have gone from strength to strength, with our loyal customers moving with us, from Shrub Hill, and new customers also coming on board."
The firm has taken on two more employees, bringing the workforce to six.
