THE ticket office lines have been buzzing at Sixways with fans desperate to see Worcester take on Wasps.
Tickets for the August 29 pre-season friendly at Worcester Rugby Club went on sale yesterday and officials recorded a big response.
With the Premiership champions likely to field stars such as Lawrence Dallaglio, the interest among both sets of supporters has been intense. With the Sixways sales department slashing the price of a corporate box for the clash, the club are expecting interest to reach fever pitch.
"We have a special price of £300 for a corporate box for the Wasps game," said commercial manager Kathy Leather.
"Normally it is £800 for a Sixways match so we are expecting a lot of interest.
"There is a real buzz at Worcester at the moment. Everyone is really pulling together and there is a great feeling of camaraderie."
