DINOSAURS are roaming the city's streets, but never fear - it's just the crazy cavemen antics of Worcestershire Trading Standards.
Dressed as cartoon characters from the Flintstones, the team is having a real "yabadabadoo time", in its wacky charity challenge preparations for the BUPA Great North Run.
The loincloth wearing competitors, have already raised a few eyebrows around Worcester. All the funds raised will go towards the city's Acorns Children's Hospice appeal.
"This was our first dress rehearsal and there were a few stunned onlookers," said Tracey Blanchard, from the team.
"We've been in training for a few months and we're now managing to run around seven-miles."
Now in its 23rd year, the north-east of England has played host to more than half a million runners as they tackle the famous route from Newcastle to the coast at South Shields.
The half marathon on Sunday, September 21, is now established as Britain's biggest running event.
It attracts everyone from the world's best runners, to the thousands of people who raise millions of pounds for charity every year.
