A ONE Stop Shop to help businesses find commercial properties in Worcestershire has been set up.
Worcestershire Property Services is designed to help companies find the best premises in the county to meet their business needs.
The service, which is operated by the county council on behalf of Worcestershire Partnership, manages the most comprehensive database of business premises in the county, with details from more than 180 commercial agents.
Expansion
The service has been set up in response to the findings of a survey by Taylor Nelson Sofres, which concluded that almost half of all small and medium sized businesses in the UK have reported problems finding suitable sites for their expansion needs.
"Worcestershire County Council receives more than 300 enquiries a year from companies expanding or relocating within or to the county," said Carl Wyard, senior economic development officer.
"Not only does the database enable enquiries to access information on available commercial properties, but it is also used as a source of valuable supply and demand data to help property developers make better informed decisions about property development into Worcestershire."
