A WOMAN'S arm and hand were injured when her bag was snatched in Walkwood Road as she walked home from work at 10.15pm on Sunday, July 13.
Her bag was ripped from her shoulder by a man who ran up from behind.
The woman chased the thief for a short way before he escaped into a waiting white Astra van.
He was slim but muscular, about 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a blue hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
The driver of the van is believed to be aged 16-18 with short, straight fair hair.
The van, which had been stolen earlier in the day in Redditch, was later found in Southcrest. It had been destroyed by fire.
The bag contained cash, credit cards and keys.
