Dark Lane AC held its Courage Cup and 3rd aggregate match, on club waters at Alcester on the River Arrow.
After two seconds in the first two contests, Alcester ace angler Simon Howell topped the weights with 19lb 1oz from a swim at the top of the meadow at the bridge. His catch included a 6lb 6oz barbel plus a 5lb 3oz pike.
Top matchman Barry Feldhahn was runner-up with 10lb 2oz from a peg near the bridge, followed by Oscar Davies in 3rd on the Nechells stretch netting 9lb 10oz.
Young Steven Spencer finished in the frame again at 4th place with 9lb 2oz, Andy Simmonds was 5th with 6lb 5oz and Tony Lockett 6th with 5lb 12oz.
