FOUR games in nine days will give Redditch United's players a tough test ahead of the new league season.
And that's just fine for manager Rod Brown who plans for his players to hit the ground running when the season starts next month.
United had pencilled in a game with Stourbridge at the weekend but this was called off because the pitch needed another week after extensive work over the summer.
Now Reds kick-off their pre-season campaign with a trip to Midland Football Alliance outfit Rushall Olympic tomorrow (Thursday) followed by a trip to neighbours Studley on Saturday.
The first game at the Valley Stadium will be next week's encounter with Dr Martens Premier Division side Hednesford Town on Tuesday, July 29 (ko 3pm).
