BARNT Green CC First XI have kept themselves on course for some silverware this season after reaching the final of the Birmingham and District League Cup thanks to the captain's century.
The Cherry Hill Road side saw off Halesowen by six wickets last Sunday to set up a tie with either Himley or Moseley on the final Sunday of the season at Barnt Green, a pre-determined venue.
Halesowen made 214-8 from their 40 overs with Illingworth taking 3-30 and Darren Key claiming two wickets.
In reply, Jones smashed an unbeaten 126, helped by 56 from Wilkinson to seal victory.
