All-rounder Dan Freidrich proved Redditch's star man as he helped the Birmingham Premier League Division Two (West) side to a winning draw at home to high-flying Shifnal.
Batting first, the Bromsgrove Road side suffered an early setback with the dismissal of Dan Protherough for 0.
But Alan Houghton (37) and Don Hough (15) put on 51 for the second wicket as Redditch began to add on the runs.
Friedrich was the pick of the middle order with an excellent 62 as Redditch posted 195-7 off their 55 overs.
Shifnal made a steady reply but Friedrich (3-48), Robin Biddle (2-31), Steve Rose (2-38) and Tim Piper (1-19) made runs hard to come by and they finished their innings on 173-8.
Redditch seconds had just two balls to spare as they claimed a three wicket victory at Wroxeter.
Decent bowling restricted the home side to 172-5 and the visitors were fired to victory by an unbeaten knock of 64 from Geoff Eley.
Redditch thirds beat Sheldon Marlborough by nine wickets.
Richard Young's 5-29 helped Redditch to a five wicket victory over visitors Chaddesley Corbett in the Worcestershire Sunday League.
Friedrich claimed 3-27 as Chaddesley were all out for 193.
In reply, an unbeaten 62 from Freidrich and a knock of 40 from Mike Pownall saw Redditch reach 194-5 with just four balls remaining.
A half century from Luke Davis helped Redditch seconds to a three wicket victory over Ombersley.
Redditch will be hoping for more heroics on Saturday when they take on unbeaten league leaders Smethwick.
