VISITORS to Hanbury Hall can take part in activities based on building and architecture this week.
Demonstrations by specialist builders, including brickmaker Tony Mugridge will take place at the historic mansion in School Road on Saturday, 26 and Sunday, July 27.
Interested folk can find out how tiles were made in Tudor times using wooden pattern blocks and have a go at making one with traditional tile maker, Kate Tiler. Plus there is a behind-the-scenes tour to discover the cellars at Hanbury Hall.
Activities are free but a small deposit is required for the hard hats. The event runs from 11am to 3pm on Saturday and noon till 5pm on Sunday.
