PUPILS at Tardebigge First School are celebrating the success of their walking bus programme.
Road safety officer Barbara Wood praised the mums and dads who run the school bus.
The Church Lane school first started the project last September. Originally there was a walking bus one day a week but the success of the project meant it quickly grew and there is now a walking bus every school day.
Headteacher Susan Helps said: "The parents have been wonderful in running this project and, of course, it encourages the children to have a healthier lifestyle.
"And we are so grateful that The Tardebigge public house has let mums and dads use its car park to drop the children off."
