An inspired spell of medium pace bowling from James Sidaway helped Alvechurch & Hopwood to a crunching 89-run victory over Worcester Nomads in Division Two of the Worcestershire County League.
Batting first, Alvechurch made 213-9 thanks to some solid work at the crease. But it was Sidaway who stole the show with his 6-29 as the home side were dismissed for 124.
Elsewhere in Division Two, Feckenham cruised to a seven wicket victory over visitors Romsey & Hunnington.
The home side were dismissed for just 117 with Feckenham reaching 120-3 to climb into the top five.
In Division Five, Hewell slumped to 68 all out in their derby clash with Alvechurch who then eased to 71-4 for a six-wicket victory.
