BROMSGROVE rally driver Iain Henderson secured a convincing victory in his first visit to the Irish Sligo Stages.
Together with co-driver Paul Farley in their MG ZR 160, Henderson won his class in the fourth round of the National Tarmacaden Championships on Sunday, July 13.
The pair led after the morning stages of the 80-mile course and further success in the afternoon on cleaner roads as other cars crashed out saw them in top spot at the finish.
Henderson said: "We are really pleased with the result on our first outing in Ireland. The stages are some of the toughest I have ever driven and it is testament to the car and crew that we survived the day."
