A LOW-scoring Worcestershire League Division Six encounter saw Kidderminster Victoria slump to defeat against Belbroughton.
Heavily depleted KVCC were rocked by late withdrawals, relying on late call-ups for veterans Tony Burkes, Stuart Logan and Norman Lamb to field a team.
But they were soon in control after deciding to bowl first with Andy Logan's excellent 6-40 bowling out new leaders Belbroughton for 136.
Burkes used his vast experience well to claim two wickets and show that he had not lost any of his guile or flight.
In reply though, the visitors struggled with batsmen playing poor shots and Peter Worn's 37 was the only real resistance as they were bowled out for just 100.
Belbroughton 136, KVCC 130.
