STOURPORT Cricket Club were the hosts as Worcestershire Young Cricketers U-11s thumped Gwent on a good pitch.
The home team elected to bat first but three wickets tumbled for just 11 runs.
Joe Taylor (26) and Brett D'Oliveira steadied the ship before Belbroughton's Ben Cox continued the good work with 64 runs off just 71 balls.
D'Oliveira really stole the show with 101 not out, including 14 boundaries, as the county declared on 245-7.
James Padden took 4-27 as Worcestershire cruised to a 124-run victory.
Richard Barker, of Kidderminster Victoria, and Daniel Platt, of Stourport and KVCC, were both involved.
Stourport's Nigel Taylor said: "It was the first time in our history we had a Worcestershire U-11s colts game down here.
"We are trying to promote cricket in this area and get more youngsters involved again.
"It was starting to die but at the moment we have 40 kids aged eight, nine and ten playing on Tuesday evenings."
