IT'S been a very busy last few weeks of term for the Kyre Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association. Beginning with a gymkhana for all riders - the junior section was won by Gabby Price from Tenbury Primary School riding Twilight. Second was Darren Drew and third Chris Boucker.
The annual picnic ride left from the Grafton Farm base for Newton farm at Bockleton where they were welcomed by Ingrid and Maurice Powell.
Everyone enjoyed a jolly good lunch prepared by Ivor Drinkwater. Undeterred by the rain which fell during the picnic, everyone enjoyed the day.

R.D.A. organiser Wendy Jones said " Much thanks goes to Grafton Riding School for all their help, Bill Friswell for bringing his own pony and teaching drivers and all the volunteers; without their unstinting help many activities would not happen."
" However, I hate having to tell riders they cannot ride because we don't have enough help with, riding, leading or walking beside a rider on Friday afternoons. Volunteers keen to help out between 1 and 3pm during term time at Grafton Farm Bockleton can contact me on 01584 810259." she added.
