IT was a sunshine day out at Clifton-upon-Teme last Saturday when hundreds of people turned up to see John Yates from BBC Midlands Today open the
annual village fete.
Craft and cake stalls did a thriving business, with no shortage of takers for the pony rides, pig roast, bar and teas.
Organisers have raised more than £3,500 to be shared between the Early Years Centre and the village hall.
