POLICE at Kidderminster are appealing for information after the theft of a laptop computer from the Comet store on Carpet Trades Way and an attempted theft which followed the snatch.
The first offence occurred on Wednesday, May 21 at about 7.25pm when four men entered the shop.
They walked over to the display of computers and pulled the security system free before walking out with a Sony laptop worth £1,600.
The men were white and aged between 18 and 24 and were all casually dressed.
One offender is described as having a tan, black hair and a moustache and was wearing a green top and shorts.
Three weeks later on Wednesday, June 11 at about 5.35pm three men walked into the same Comet store.
Two of them walked over to the laptop computer display but were spotted by a member of staff who watched them closely.
Eventually the two men met up with a third man and left the store empty handed.
Police are looking at the possibility that the two incidents are linked and are appealing for anyone who recognises any of the men pictured to contact PC Lisa Ignoscia on 08457 444 888.
