ROWING: Nearly 600 crews will compete in 129 events at Bewdley's big annual two-day regatta this weekend.
The rowing feast will be held in memory of Bewdley Rowing Club's late president Derek Woodward.
Both the hosts and Stourport Boat Club will be well represented on the River Severn along with entries from as far afield as Durham and Devon.
Engraved quart pewter tankards await the winners as racing runs between 8.30am and 6pm on Saturday and 8.15am and 6.15pm on Sunday.
Spectators are welcome to watch the races, which take place every two to three minutes, from the rowing club or opposite on Severnside North.
