MOTORSPORT: Jason Stott blasted past Yorkshire's David Knowles to win the 250cc final at Bewdley Motorcycling Club's Shatterford grass track meeting on Sunday.
The Kidderminster rider looked set to repeat his success in the closing race, called Speedy's Dash for the Cash, when he did battle with Knowles for the £50 prize.
But the visiting rider grabbed the verdict by a narrow margin.
In the 350cc class, Bewdley's Lee Gaydon took two good wins before claiming fourth place overall.
Glyn Stanton came fourth in the pre-'75 class where the club's John Saunders was seventh.
