I REFER to the letter from Bewdley town councillor Paul Gittins about the illegal parking of bikes on Severnside North (Shuttle/ Times and News, July 10).
Has he ever travelled down the road to Stourport?
It's the place every motorist dreads driving through because the police and traffic wardens are not doing their jobs. High Street in the town is a car park, and 95 per cent of the population seem to be disabled when the need arises.
Maybe we should reintroduce the old blue invalid carriages for the genuine disabled. It would help deter malingerers.
So Councillor Gittins, just be grateful that your only problem is illegally parked bikes along the riverside.
